I'm an award winning television journalist who has managed to survive more than a decade in the biz. It's helped me make quick decisions and remain cool under intense pressure and last minute deadlines. I love the rush! It has also been great training for parenthood. My husband and I have an almost 4 year old son and a newly one year old daughter. Life is always entertaining with them and they always remind me to make the most of everyday and do so with a sense of humor.

Happy Fourth and Then Some







Our son John was finally old enough to really enjoy our Village's 4th. Every year Northfield puts on a kids' parade leading to the baseball park. There, they have cotton candy and ice cones. They have the hula hoop contests and sack races and hundreds of children. All the energy make me tired. It is VERY Norman Rockwell and so charming. John loved it all and took immediately to all the parade waving and whatnot. Where ever did he learn that?
