A group of us from CASA Lake County were part of the Lake Forest Days Parade today. It is an annual tradition for Lake Forest and the Lake Forest American Legion Post 264. We came armed with a few wagons full of candy. It was apparently not enough for the thousands of parade fans. At one point I thought my son was in the middle of a mosh pit (how old school is THAT term?)when about a dozen kids descended upon his wagon. Of course later down the road (or route), a really cute group of "older" girls made up for it. He was MORE than happy to hand out candy to them!
About Me
- AJ Sterling
- I'm an award winning television journalist who has managed to survive more than a decade in the biz. It's helped me make quick decisions and remain cool under intense pressure and last minute deadlines. I love the rush! It has also been great training for parenthood. My husband and I have an almost 4 year old son and a newly one year old daughter. Life is always entertaining with them and they always remind me to make the most of everyday and do so with a sense of humor.
